Bells Mills Covered Bridge... Bells Mills
(#38/65/01), the only remaining authentic one lane covered bridge
in Westmoreland County, was built by architect Daniel McClain
in 1850. It utilizes a 107' Burr Arch Truss and is in the Greek
Revival style. The bridge spans the Big Sewickley Creek three
miles east of West Newton, PA. (Watercolor) Artist:

Greensburg Mainstreet... Westmoreland
County Courthouse is one of the region's most beautiful Beaux
Arts Buildings. Erected in 1906, it is the fourth courthouse
to occupy this site. Its original architect, William Kauffman,
designed the Italian Renaissance style central dome seen from
this approach on North Main Street, Greensburg, PA. (Watercolor)

Saint Vincent Basilica... Saint Vincent,
the first Benedictine monastery in the United States, is located
on Route 30, Latrobe, PA. The majestic church, designed by architect
William Schickel, is of Rheinish Romanesque style. Brothers from
the monastic community assisted lay craftsmen during construction

Frye's Farm...The view of this beautiful,
well tended family farm has been enjoyed by travelers along Route
30 east of Greensburg for many years. Clair L. Frye operated
it as a dairy farm from 1954 until 1990. His son, Wayne, now
raises young cattle on the property. (Pastel) Artist:

Mountain View Inn's Gazebo...Mountain
View Inn, located on Route 30 east of Greensburg, overlooks the
beautiful Chestnut Ridge landscape. Owned and operated by the
Booher family since 1940, the lovely grounds, dining facilities,
and guest rooms provide an elegant tradition of hospitality.

Soda Jerk...Delicious memories of childhood
- ice cream treats at Valley Dairy! Joseph A. Greubel, the first
ice cream entrepreneur in Westmoreland County (1884) provided
delivery by horse and buggy. Grandson "Ice Cream Joe"
opened the first Valley Dairy in Derry, PA (1938). Family operated
now at thirteen locations in nine counties. (Watercolor) Artist:
