Meet the artist:

Born and raised in Pittsburgh,Pa., Marian developed her love for art at an early age. She was encouraged by family and friends to pursue a career in art. After graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, she joined the advertising staff of Kaufmann's and Joseph Horne Co. as a fashion illustrator, and as an advertising artist for many retailers in the Pittsburgh region.

As a fine artist, Marian has acquired many awards, including; Eat'n'Park Gold Sable Award for excellence in watercolor, Jurors Award-watercolor, Judges Award-oil, First Place-oil, Best in Show-oil.

Marian resides in Acme, Pa. with her family.
