Alycefaye Stewart Alycefaye graduated from Edinboro University in 1968 with a degree in art education. She taught art for 31 years at Jeannette Middle School and in Norwin at "every grade in every building." The PTA awarded her "Outstanding Teacher of the Year" in 1998, and she is listed in "Who's Who Among American Teachers."

She is a quilter, and has donated a handmade quilt to the Westmoreland Animal Shelter to be auctioned off for a fund raiser. She is an avid gardener, and her home will be one of the ones visited by the Greensburg Garden Tour this year.

Alycefaye also has a small business called "Creative Design Tassels". She creates very large tassels for various occasions.
