Barbara Bush Barbara has devoted the past several years to studying, in-depth, through self-study and professional workshops, classic oil and pastel techniques. She brings a sense of old world style and color to her canvas. She has been commissioned by Westmoreland County organizations to do commemorative oil and pastel portraits of well known community leaders.

Barbara is recognized in this region for her pen and ink drawings of historic buildings, streetscapes and pencil portraits. She exhibits in many regional shows and has won numerous awards.

For several years after graduation from Seton Hill College, Barbara was a secondary art teacher in the Derry Area School District. She continued her teaching career during the years of raising her family, with classes and private lessons. She lives in Saltsburg with her husband, Dr. William E. Bush. Barbara is currently (2001) serving as President of the Greensburg Art Club.
